About Me
My name is Rhodes Baron, a local El Segundo High School student and the founder of Scoot School. I have been scootering since 2021 and I fell in love with the sport the second I rolled into the skatepark. My goal is to share my skills and passion for scootering with other people who want to learn and improve their skills.

How we ensure guaranteed progress
At The Scoot School, we evaluate each student to see if they are ready to learn the fundamental tricks which set the ground for making progress. Once we are sure that each student is ready, the student will pick one of three tricks they want to learn. These fundamental tricks are: The Tailwhip, the Barspin, and the 360.

The Tailwhip is when the rider flicks their feet towards the left or right, making the deck of the scooter spin in a 360 motion.

The Barspin is when the rider uses either their left or right hand to pass the bar to their other hand.

The 360 is when the rider hops and turns their body to their right side or left side for 360 degrees.
